How it works

The LifeSpider™ — diagram of the leg elements
01

Essence

The unchangeable core.

Your Essence is not what you do, what you've achieved, or how others have named you. It is the quality of consciousness you were born with — the distinctive frequency that runs through every version of you, in every season of your life. It existed before your wounds shaped you and will remain when they no longer define you. The LifeSpider doesn't create your Essence. It reveals what was always already there.

02

Driving Force

The ego's engine.

Your Driving Force is the motivational architecture beneath your behavior — the values, needs, and patterns that determine how you move through the world. Most people either surrender to their Driving Force unconsciously or spend their lives trying to suppress it. The LifeSpider System takes a third path: partner with it. When your ego is in alignment with your soul, your Driving Force stops being a liability and becomes your most powerful engine.

03

Intention

The direction your energy is pointed.

Intention is not a goal. It is not a wish list. It is the conscious orientation of your life force — the inner compass that determines what you move toward and what you leave behind. Each spider leg carries its own Intention, which means you are not one-dimensional in your purpose. You are multidirectional by design.

04

Mission

Your contribution to the world.

Mission is the expression of your Essence in action — the specific way you are here to serve, create, or transform. It answers not just what you do, but why the world needs you to do it. On each spider leg, your Mission gives your Life Projects their meaning. Without Mission, projects are just activity. With it, they become legacy.

05

Life Projects³

Where the inner becomes outer.

Life Projects are the concrete expressions of your Mission in the world — the actual things you build, create, lead, or contribute. Each spider leg carries up to three Life Projects, giving you up to eighteen active pathways of expression at any one time. For The Weird Ones, this is the map that finally makes sense of why you can never just do one thing.

06

Support Legs

The web that holds the spider.

A spider without a web has nowhere to anchor. The Support Legs are the eight life domains — health, relationships, environment, economy, learning, creativity, spirituality, and play — that create the conditions for your LifeSpider to function. They are not secondary. They are structural. When the web is weak, even the strongest spider cannot move.
